Each roll is hot out of the oven and ties directly to what kids are learning with Mayfield Road Kids. Whether you’re baking the bread or just passing the butter - The Dinner Roll helps families connect with each other and live God's Story - one bite-sized conversation at a time. 


And this roll never goes stale, so you can leave it on the table to keep your dinner conversations hot and fresh all school-year long.


How to Play:

  • Download and print The Dinner Roll HERE. Printed copies are available in the Preschool Suite.
  • Take turns rolling The Dinner Roll (First one to the table gets the first roll!)
  • Match your roll to the number below and turn dinner into something better than a food fight! So gather ‘round the table and pass the rolls!

  •       

    Answer this question: If you could replay one moment from today in slow motion, what would you pick?

  •       

    Answer this question: Think about someone you know who needs a friend. What’s one way you could include them this week?

  • Everyone share one way they’ve seen forgiveness in action this week (giving or receiving it).

  • The person who rolled “conducts” the family with a spoon or fork, pointing to who should say the next part of the verse.


    Jesus came down to be born as a little baby. He lived a perfect life. He died on the cross for our sins. He was buried in a tomb, and on the third day, He rose from the dead, and He's coming back again! And that's the Gospel truth!

  • Bottoms Up! A grown up at the table gets to make you a “special” drink with any THREE liquids from the fridge, and you have to drink it! (Extra points if you drink a mix of pickle juice, hot sauce, chocolate syrup, milk, and balsamic vinaigrette!)
