Each roll is hot out of the oven and ties directly to what kids are learning with Mayfield Road Kids. Whether you’re baking the bread or just passing the butter - The Dinner Roll helps families connect with each other and live God's Story - one bite-sized conversation at a time. 


And this roll never goes stale, so you can leave it on the table to keep your dinner conversations hot and fresh all school-year long.


How to Play:

  • Download and print The Dinner Roll HERE. Printed copies are available in the Preschool Suite.
  • Take turns rolling The Dinner Roll (First one to the table gets the first roll!)
  • Match your roll to the number below and turn dinner into something better than a food fight! So gather ‘round the table and pass the rolls!

  • Answer this question: How are you feeling right now in one word?

  • Answer this question: Think of someone who shows love to people really well. What do they do? (And you can’t say “Jesus”—too easy!)

  • God is good. Play “God is good because…” — each person finishes the sentence with a reason.

  • Say the MVOTM like a sloth. Suuuuupppppeeeeerrrrrr sllllllooooowwwww.


    Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5

  •  Attempt to do a magic trick at the table. (Ideas: bendy spoon, make something “disappear” by eating it, put a napkin over your face and change expressions each time you pull it up and down.) At the end of dinner, vote on whose magic trick was the most unbelievable!
